- Saudi Arabia-based micro-influencer marketplace Flicron has closed its second equity crowdfunding round, worth SAR4 million ($1.07 million), from Manfaa Capital.
- Founded in 2018, Flicron connects brands with a network of influencers who promote the brand or its products on social media. Brands upload a brief onto Filcron’s platform, and influencers create content for it. The brands only pay for the content they approve.
- Flicron claims to have amassed over 9,000 micro-influencers, connecting them to more than 400 small, medium and large businesses.
- The startup will use the investment to expand its reach across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region and attract further brands and influencers to its platform.
